James H. Beusse, a founding member of the firm, was an “AV” rated attorney who practices in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, technology licensing, and related commercial matters. Mr. Beusse had extensive experience in protection of computer hardware and software. He was also very experienced drafting and negotiating licensing and other transactional agreements.  He obtained several hundred patents for various clients including leading manufacturing corporations and educational institutions. His employment experience included five (5) years of engineering practice and thirteen (13) years as corporate patent counsel for General Electric. Since 1985, Mr. Beusse was in private practice representing numerous clients in obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights.
